The Orientation Training on Rice Production and Awarding of Rice Seeds of the RISE: Uplifting Agricultural Productivity through Science and Technology project was conducted face-to-face on June 23, 2023 at Research and Extension Training Hall, PRMSU Botolan Campus. It aimed to strengthen the collaborations to indigenous people (IP) through rice production project; specifically, to strengthen the rice productivity through science and technology intervention, and to award rice seeds to identified beneficiaries with IP partner associations. IP farmers from Brgy. Malomboy & Brgy. Belbel, Botolan, Zambales and Sitio Maporac, Brgy. New San Juan, Cabangan, Zambales attended the training. They were awarded with sacks of rice seeds from the Department of Agriculture – Region III.
