Zambales’ premier state university, President Ramon Magsaysay State University joined forces with one of the leading LGU in the province, the Local Government Unit of Botolan to 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐮𝐦 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦
The President Ramon Magsaysay State University (PRMSU) under the able leadership of University President Dr. Roy N. Villalobos and the Local Government Unit of Botolan signed a landmark agreement aimed at revitalizing and preserving the rich cultural heritage of Botolan through an innovative Museum Education Extension Program. This partnership signifies a significant step towards safeguarding the town’s unique cultural legacy for future generations.
The signing ceremony was attended by Mayor Jun Omar Ebdane, Sangguniang Bayan Member Committee on Tourism Hon. Angel Diesta, University President Dr. Roy N. Villalobos represented by the University Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Lilian Uy, College of Teacher Education Dean Dr. Zenvi Ann Macalinao, BSEd Program Chair Dr. Baby S. Abagon, Mr. Joven Ian Marquez, Project Leader, Social Science Faculty members Mr. Ferdie O. Batara, Mr. Reynor D. Dial, Ms. Mylene M. Yabut, Ms. Cecilia A. Santiago of Balin Pamana Museum and Botolan Tourism Office Senior Tourism Operations Officer Ms. Genessy D. Villar. The target beneficiaries of the program are the BCAEd students of Polytechnic College of Botolan and Balin Pamana Museum staff. The project will commence on the third week of July 2024 and will end on June 2025. The program is composed of the following components:

Project Aralin sa Balin (Museo at Kasaysayan, Tanghal Museo and Lesson Exemplar Making)
This collaboration underscores the commitment of both parties to not only preserve the cultural heritage of Botolan but also to create educational opportunities that will enrich the lives of the people of Botolan.
