College of Teacher Education conducted In House Extension Training and Development for BEEd Extensionists

The In House Extension Training and Development for BEEd Extensionists of the College of Teacher Education was conducted last May 4, 2022 via Zoom Teleconferencing. The webinar aimed to encourage BEEd students to conduct extensions; train BEEd students in conducting extension; and develop a plan for extension activities in line with the BEEd program for 2022 and beyond.

The webinar was facilitated by Mr. Vincent M. Pobre. It started with an invocation which was followed by the Philippine National Anthem through an audio-visual presentation. The opening remarks was delivered by Dr. Zenvi Ann M. Macalinao, Dean of the College of Teacher Education. lt was followed by the sharing of the Overview of the Extension Program of PRMSU led by Ms.

Gladys R. Alviar, CTE Faculty Extensionist. Mr. Garry F. Almazan, CTE Faculty discussed the various CTE Extension Activities from the year 2021 to the present. Mr. Joven Ian M. Marquez, CTE Extension Services Coordinator presented the Targets for CTE Extension 2022 and beyond.

The talk of Mr. Rey E. Dalusong continued in the afternoon session focusing on planning and implementation of extension programs, projects, and activities. Mr. Mark Gil C. Dela Rosa presented Monitoring and evaluation of extension programs, projects, and activities. A one-hour workshop on crafting Extension Programs, Projects, and Activities for BEEd program followed. At 4:01 pm, the presentation of output began. The participants were grouped according to their year level. After an hour, the students presented their output to the resource speakers. Faculty extensionists provided suggestions and inputs for the improvement of the proposed extension plans for BEEd program. After the presentation and critiquing of outputs, Certificates of Recognition were awarded to the resource speakers. The webinar ended with a message from CTE Dean Dr. Zenvi Ann M. Macalinao
