PRMSU CTE Extension Team facilitated the meeting to monitor the status of MERIT Program held via Google Meet. This activity is part of the ongoing MERIT (Mathematics and English Riding in Tandem) Program, a joint undertaking between PRMSU College of Teacher Education Extension Office and Amungan National High School.

The meeting was attended by CTE Dean Dr. Zenvi Ann Macalinao, Mr. Joven Ian Marquez, CTE Extension Coordinator, Mr. Mark Gil Dela Rosa, PRMSU Assistant Director for Extension, and CTE Faculty Extensionists Mr. Garry Almazan, Mr. Leroy Flores, Ms. Joan Tombaga, and Ms. Fe Marie L. Matias. ANHS representatives were Ms. Nenita Angulo, Mathematics Head Teacher, Mr. Michael Imperial Maya, Math Teacher, Ms. Vilma M. Arfapo, English Department Head, and Mr. Ian Christian A. Febrer, English Reading Coordinator. The discussion focused on the necessary interventions to be implemented (Strategic Intervention Materials, Reading Enhacement and Remediation Activities) to improve numeracy and literacy among Grade 7 learners of ANHS.
