
IPsibol Kami Naman Program: Series 3 of Intervention Program of Project LITERAID – Leveraging Initiatives to Empower Reading and Arithmetic & RISE Project – Training on Rice Production Cultural Management and Awarding of Fertilizer and Awarding of Fertilizer
The college persistently empowers young students through a series of intervention programs, now on its third day. Led by Dr. Zenaida D. Umayan, CTE Program Chairperson, the faculty extensionists concluded the three-day intervention program for third-grade pupils. This initiative aims to strengthen and enhance their love and fluency in reading, with the literacy team comprising Ms. Carla Joan Schuck, Dr. Alex Villar, Ms. April Gonzales, and Associate Professor Lyn Luzano. The numeracy team includes Associate Professor Lea Dollete, Mr. Jayson Fernandez, Ms. April Dollete and Ms. Aurora Lagunilla.
Additional Information: Practice Student Teachers deployed in San Juan Elementary School Annex became as resource speakers who implemented the prepared interventions for literacy and numeracy of the college extension, faculty extensionists, college secretary Ms. April Dollete and NSTP LTS students.
Continuing to strengthen community partnerships, the college conducted the second training of the series under the RISE Project. This training, focusing on Rice Production Cultural Management and Organic Concoctions, was led by agricultural experts Agri. Angelo C. Fermil and Agri. Jesseca Ruth C. Diesta from the College of Agriculture and Forestry at PRMSU Botolan Campus and facilitated by Mr. Tsuyoshi Kinoshita, JICA Volunteer. The event also included the awarding of fertilizers from the Department of Agriculture Region 3, coordinated by Dr. Ferdinand Domingo, University Director for IGP and PRMSU San Marcelino Campus Director. These fertilizers were given to the partnered farmers association beneficiary of Sitio Maporac, Brgy. New San Juan, under the RISE Project initiated by the University Extension office, led by Dr. Rosielyn A. Ebal, University Director for Extension.
Under the leadership of CTE Chairperson Dr. Zenaida D. Umayan, the college expresses gratitude for the strong support of the PRMSU Administration in achieving the goals of the community extension program.

Your presence was truly inspiring and demonstrated a deep commitment to our community and its goals, to VP for Research and Development Dr. Marlon Dedicatoria, special thanks to Dr. Rosielyn Ebal for her guidance and collaboration, to Dr. Ferdinand Domingo for being the instrument of the farmers to be awarded with the fertilizers in coordination with the Department of Agriculture Region 3, to our Campus Director, Dr. Rene Regaspi, for his steadfast support, to campus extension office, faculty and staff.
