In celebration of PRMSU’s 113th Founding and 5th Charter Anniversary, all the campuses united into one for the Research Development Extension Production (RDEP) Festival starting today, April 18-20. Transforming the theme, β€œPRMSU’s Sustainable and Resilient Convergence of Research, Development, Extension, and Production Gearing towards Progressive Nation,” into reality, all Ramonians gathered at the campus grounds for Techno Showcase.
Each campus proudly presented its unique products, showcasing the homegrown talents of Ramonians in craftmanship, agriculture, and cooking.
The Botolan Campus, known for its expertise in agriculture, exhibits its masterpieces made from the Zambales Bamboo. The artists incorporated woods in their detailed crafts, such as vehicles and sculptures, that undeniably radiates their unfolded, amateur talents.
β€œThis is something huge for all of us. It’s a platform para ma-showcase β€˜yung talents at products na ginawa ng mga bata, knowing that Botolan produces forest of bamboos. Aside from that, it is also a requirement for the Agri-Entrepreneurship subject of the students and for research as well,” Erwin Elane, the Publication Adviser of PRMSU-Botolan, stated in an interview.
Other campuses also showcased their specialties through delightful foods, greenery of plants, and the novelty of numerous products made by the Ramonians.
Indeed, it is evident that our students are equipped with homegrown talents and a heart for agriculture and innovation, something that we, Ramonians, should always be proud of.
